Swara Bhaskar who was present at the special screening of her film Anaarkali Of Aarah in Mumbai talked about the film and her character in it. Pankaj Tripathy, Shama Sikander, Deepak Dobriyal and others were also seen at the special screening of the film. The film is directed by Avinash Das and also features Sanjai Mishra and Ishhtiaq Khan. Talking about the film's plot Anaarkali (Swara Bhasker) is an erotic singer from Aarah, a small town in Bihar. Swara Bhaskar and her orchestra perform at parties on songs which are replete with double meaning. Swara Bhasker upon whose shoulders the entire film is dependent on, has brilliantly brought to light the plight of strong women who have sob stories to tell and gain all the sympathy in the world but choose not to. Swara Bhasker's character is a fine blend of pomp and pride and gracefulness. A must watch!
